An insight on management of odontogenic orbital infections: report of two cases

چکیده
Odontogenic infections are common and very often spread to potential spaces of head neck. The such infection adjacent maxillary sinuses or distant sites as the orbits a rare occurrence may develop periorbital orbital cellulitis. Unfortunately once cellulitis subsequently abscess develops it can give rise serious complications complete blindness even more life-threatening situations cavernous sinus thrombosis, intracranial death. Two cases presented demonstrate differences between two conditions necessary management in either case. This article provides an insight into clinical behaviour odontogenic origin with contemporary diagnostic treatment modalities that will help reducing morbidity mortality associated these conditions.
